Going in for a physical... afraid of getting blood drawn?

Im 15 and i am going in for a physical soon. I am terrified of getting my blood drawn. Im afraid of anything touching my veins. Can i opt to have them prick my finger instead? Or do they not usually draw blood at physicals? Past time i did it it was at the emergency room and i was eight. It did not go well at all. Help??
