Which car would be best for me and my sons who are 16 and 14...and very tall?

I really like Dinna's confidant no nonsense response. I really don't know newer models at all but would research gas millage these days even though prices may be coming down. I have noticed that When opec and others raise the prices they go up two and come down one so you think your getting a break when really they raised the price on you anyway. An example: gas cost $4.00 dollars a gallon and goes up 50 cents. Everyone is out raged. Then shortly afterwards it drops to $4.25. Everyone cheers and is relieved thinking they got a reprieve, when actually they managed to raise the price 25 cents and keep you happy. I remember when gas was less then a quarter. Pretty slick 1,600 percent raise in price and you didn't even feel it. Right!? Am I laughing out loud or crying. I have to count the mileage to make sure there is a enough money to get to work and errands. If the economy totally collapses as some claim it is on it's way and there is gas rations you'll be glad you picked a low mileage car. My wife had a 2005 Mitsubishis Outback. She bought it from a car dealer that gave her some advice that I had already gave her. What I can't figure out is why she thought this guy so wise and ignored the same thing I just told her. Later she realized he didn't have her interest at heart at all. I didn't like it but she loved car. It was all right except for mileage and cost. We could have bought two brand new Kias for what she purchased that used thing for. She drove the Kia and liked it but wanted an SUV. I could get as much into my Buick. People and gear. Not that I recommend Kia as I haven't researched them. I have driven a rental one from Portland Oregon to the center of Utah somewhere and it was comfortable and performed satisfactorily. I don't recall the mileage as my company paid for it. So check out on the net each vehicle. I said a prayer for the bank to Okay your loan. If the bankruptcy was resent this shouldn't be a problem, as they know you can't file again for years. Perhaps you know someone that will sign for you.
